Top Class cyclist Ivan Basso has been banned for 2 years for attempting to dope. But as he is 29 it will give him time to come back and maybe win the tour. Should bans be a lot harsher or is 2 years enough???

That's the rule... doper gets 2 years... it has been the rule.
Just like a crimial gets sentenced to be jailed for a set amount of time and he/she then comes out as a free man.

I think it's pretty fair, does it come with an olympic ban like in athletics?
